In a study involving 26 participants aged 18-35, two conditions were tested: one where participants completed the Stroop Color-Word Task during a 2-minute rest period (Cognitive Task condition) and another where they rested without any intervention (Control condition). Results indicated that performing a cognitive task during rest led to a greater reduction in flexion total work and a smaller reduction in mental fatigue compared to the control.
