Sumario:The article focuses on the impact of psychological, physical, and cognitive factors on military-relevant virtual reality (VR) task performance under stress among active-duty soldiers. A study involving 25 male soldiers assessed their performance on various tasks, including Recognition Memory, Spatial Orienting, and Decision-Making, under conditions of threat. Results indicated that higher levels of acceptance, emotional support, and physical fitness were linked to better performance, while emotional suppression and denial correlated with poorer outcomes. The findings suggest that coping skills, particularly acceptance, could be targeted for interventions to enhance soldier performance in stressful situations.
