      ab: Background and Aim: Evaluating interradicular distances in the posterior maxilla across different sagittal skeletal patterns is crucial for assessing the anatomy of this region for planning more accurate and safer treatments, such as in mini-implant placement. The aim of this study was to evaluate the interradicular distances in the posterior maxilla of Iranian adults with different sagittal skeletal patterns using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). Materials and methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on CBCT images of 90 individuals aged 18-50 years to measure the interradicular spaces at 2, 4, 6 and 8 mm from the cementoenamel junction (CEJ) from the distal of the canine to the mesial of second molar in maxilla. The participants were divided equally among three sagittal skeletal classes. Data were analyzed by ANOVA, Tukey's post hoc test and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis (alpha = 0.05). Results: The results demonstrated that the interradicular spaces gradually increase from the CEJ toward the apex. The widest interradicular distances were observed between the second premolar and first molar, particularly at 8 mm from the CEJ in all skeletal classes. Gender differences were minimal but statistically significant in specific regions (p<0.05). Age differences were not significant within the limits of this study (p<0.05). Conclusion: Based on the findings of this study, while individual differences should be taken into consideration, the greatest interradicular distance belongs to the area between the second premolar and the first molar at 8 mm from the CEJ.
