Indeed, adherence to the Helsinki Declaration requires efforts to provide trial results to participants, and research regulations and guidance in Australia and the United Kingdom explicitly address the provision of research results to participants. Research participants across a range of research contexts have reported a desire to be informed of research findings. However, mandatory reporting of research results directly to participants remains uncommon. |
