Yet, it can be challenging to stay true to this rhetoric with assessment practices sometimes being incongruent when it comes to standardised assessments, for instance those that evaluate body structure and function. The Perceive, Recall, Plan and Perform (PRPP) System offers a dynamic occupation-based assessment and intervention approach for all stages of the occupational therapy process. Aim & Methods This interactive workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to consider some of the historical roots to today's whakaora ngangahau assessment practices, reflect critically on their own current assessment practice, and expand their knowledge and skills in occupationbased practice. An overview of how the PRPP system brings an occupation-based lens to practice will be shared, drawing from the author's research findings, PRPP Assessment teaching, practical case studies and use of reflective questions.
