      ab: Purpose: Optometric teletherapy, specifically in the form of virtual vision therapy, has emerged as a viable and effective alternative to inperson treatment. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Western University College of Optometry successfully adapted traditional vision therapy techniques for a remote setting. Using specialized vision therapy kits, digital resources, and teleconferencing platforms, the program addressed barriers such as geographic distance and clinic space constraints, making vision care more accessible. Case Series: Two case studies highlight the effectiveness of virtual therapy in treating the conditions pediatric exotropia and refractive amblyopia. Patients demonstrated significant improvements in visual acuity, stereopsis, and oculomotor function, with outcomes comparable to those achieved through in-person therapy. The home-based environment, combined with parental involvement, enhanced patient engagement and adherence to therapy protocols. Conclusion: As demand for vision therapy continues, teletherapy presents a sustainable model for expanding access to care. Online platforms provided accountability through progress tracking, ensuring consistent patient participation. This study underscores the potential of virtual vision therapy as a permanent and effective solution in optometric care.
