Methods: Data were collected from 250 individuals aged 65 or older who had lost a spouse between 6 months and 5 years prior, from July 15 to September 20, 2022. Analyses were conducted using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 24.0. Results: The proposed structural model showed good fit and explained 71% of post-bereavement growth in the elderly. Use of hospice services, marital intimacy, emotional beliefs, and social support were identified as key influencing factors. Path coefficient analysis by sex revealed differences between male and female participants. Conclusion: Meaning reconstruction, emotional beliefs, and social support were common influencing factors for both sexes, whereas marital intimacy and hospice service use were significant only for elderly women. These findings highlight the need for nursing interventions that reflect sex-specific differences when designing programs to promote growth after bereavement. pubtype: Academic Journal doctype: research tables/charts Journal Article ougenre: Article language: Korean refInfo: holdings: @attributes: islocal: N |
