Sumario:The rising burden of chronic and life-limiting illnesses across the globe has highlighted the need for comprehensive palliative medicine. Conventional pharmacological approaches, while effective in reducing acute distress, often fail to address the holistic needs of patients--including psychological, emotional, and spiritual suffering. Homoeopathy, founded by Samuel Hahnemann in the late 18th century, offers a unique paradigm of care that aligns closely with the principles of palliation. Through individualized prescriptions, non-toxic remedies, and an emphasis on the totality of symptoms, homoeopathy provides gentle relief to patients in advanced stages of illness. This article examines the role of homoeopathy as the future of palliative medicine, exploring historical roots, philosophical foundations, applications in oncology, geriatrics, neurology, and end-of-life care, while addressing criticisms and outlining future directions. Homoeopathy's integrative potential positions it as not only a supportive tool but a transformative force in the landscape of palliative care.
