| Sumario: | The article emphasizes the important of a regional junior college that focuses on a vocational, technical and semiprofessional program. Among the advantages of the regional junior college is the economy which results from placing educational facilities where the students reside. There is a proposed legislation in Michigan to enable designated districts to establish junior colleges. Under the proposed plan, junior college enrollment would be made a basis for state aid to school districts. The plan will enable small school districts to unite in providing educational facilities, especially in the field of guidance and placement. It will help overcome the limitation of the training program of the small high school, limitations which would be emphasized if the schools were encouraged merely to provide postgraduate courses.
