ab: This paper aims at two goals. First, I analyse the possibility of virtuous machines. I shall argue that this might be of interest not only for ethics of technology taken as a regulation of designing and market implementation of certain kind of autonomous machines, but also as a method of uncovering some hidden aporias of the language of current debate in ethics of technology, and primarily in the ethics of Artificial Intelligence and robots. Thus, the second goal of the paper is critical and aims at pinpointing some of the sources of these limitations and a handful of significant philosophical questions which the turn to the language of virtue makes available.
