| Sumario: | This paper detects both a lexical and conceptual debt toward Hesiod for Aristophanes' invocation of the Muse in Pax 775-780. Aristophanes aims to represent himself as 'the poet of the peace' and, for that purpose, he recalls the tradition that stems from Hesiod and involves Stesichorus. After analyzing the invocations of the Muses in Aristophanes and the relation of this passage with both Stesichorus and Hesiod's texts, it is proposed a commentary for these lines. The invocation can be conceived as a further step toward the definition of the genre with which the Muse Thalia will be paired lately. L"articolo individua un debito lessicale e concettuale verso Esiodo per l"invocazione alla Musa di Ar. Pax 775-780. Aristofane intende rappresentarsi come 'poeta della pace" e a tale scopo si rifà alla tradizione che ha origine con Esiodo e passa per Stesicoro. Dopo un"analisi delle invocazioni alle Muse in Aristofane e dei rapporti di questo passo con l"opera di Stesicoro ed Esiodo, è offerto un commento ai versi. L"invocazione può essere considerata un ulteriore passo verso la definizione del genere al quale sarà successivamente accostata la Musa Talia. |
