Sumario:The article examines the role of pop and populism in the entertainment magazines of the Weimar Republic and their continuation during the Nazi regime starting in 1933. Despite the Nazis' rise to power, many publications show a continuity in reporting on celebrities, fashion, and culture, while behind the scenes, personnel changes and ideological adjustments were taking place. The diversity of the press landscape in the Weimar Republic, including significant publishers like Ullstein and Mosse, is highlighted, with some magazines, such as "Die Dame," continuing until the paper shortage in 1943. The article illustrates that the changes in the media landscape are complex and exhibit both continuities and breaks.
