| Sumario: | The present work aims to offer a new overview of Valencian memoir literature of the 19th century and to remark the importance of these kind of documents in our history. This study gathers diaries, collections of memoirs or notes of unknown or difficult-to-access events, as well as others that have already been transcribed, edited and studied that have not received the necessary attention or been taken into account in the Valencian memoir corpus. Furthermore, it is noted, as some researchers have already stated, that from the end of the 18th century until the first third of the 20th century no diary or memoir had been written in Valencian, except in some cases in which is used occasionally in some private document. Aquest treball tracta d'oferir un nou panorama de la literatura memorialística valenciana del segle XIX i destacar la importància que tenen aquests tipus de documents en la memòria col·lectiva i en el relat històric. En aquest recorregut es posen en relleu dietaris, reculls de memòries o anotacions de successos desconeguts o de difícil accés, a més d'altres ja transcrits, editats i estudiats que no han rebut l'atenció necessària ni s'han tingut en compte en el corpus memorialístic valencià. A més, s'adverteix, tal com ja havien afirmat alguns estudiosos, que des de la darreria del segle XVIII no s'havia escrit cap dietari ni llibre de memòries en valencià fins al primer terç del segle XX, llevat d'algun cas en què la llengua pròpia es fa servir de manera puntual en algun document privat.
