In this work, we attempt to examine the reception of Mulet's attributed works over time. L'existència de la figura i d'una obra literària atribuïda a Francesc Mulet (1624-1675), sembla que va generar dubtes ja des del segle XIX. El fet de no comptar amb testimonis irrefutables sobre la seua autoria en algunes composicions que se li atribueixen i, en especial, sobre la seua obra teatral, no ha fet més que afegir una incertesa evident a l'hora d'acarar-nos amb aquells escrits.
