Guided by theoretical and practical knowledge about the formation of the Kazakh national terminology fund (inventory, systematization, regulation, etc.), the current state of approved terms in the field of social sciences and humanities is determined in detail. This is done in order to solve one of the urgent problems of the state language - the lack of a full-fledged terminological base and a universal terminology system. The quantitative characteristics of the terms of the socio-scientific field approved in the period from 1971 to 2014 were verified, and their inventory was carried out. The results of the research can be used by experts in the field of terminology to find the best approach in the formation of a term, to provide its easy adaptation in the language. The most important issue of terminology is to define the structure of the term. Structuring allows you to identify the problems of small languages. Indeed, within the framework of a special field of knowledge, the term is created according to the type of priority sample in this system. When identifying the structural features of terminology, we first of all pay attention to the form, to the morphological structure of the terminological unit. Данное исследование направлено на совершенствование научного и делового стиля, языка нормативных документов, делопроизводства и других функциональных стилей. Руководствуясь теоретическими и практическими знаниями о формировании казахского национального терми- нологического фонда (инвентаризация, систематизация, регламентация и др.), детально опреде- лено текущее состояние утвержденных терминов, в области общественно-гуманитарных наук. Это осуществляется с целью решить одну из актуальных проблем государственного языка - от- сутствие полноценной терминологической базы и универсальной системы в области терминотворчества. Были выверены количественные характеристики терминов общественно-научного направления, утверждённых в период с 1971 по 2014 годы, а также проведена их инвентари- зация. Результаты исследования могут быть использованы специалистами в области термино- логии для поиска наилучшего подхода в формировании термина, для обеспечения легкой его адаптации в языке. Важнейшей задачей терминологии является определение структуры термина. Структуризация позволяет выявить проблемы малых языков. Ведь в рамках специальной области знаний термин создается по типу приоритетного образца в этой системе.
