Sumario:The article addresses corrections and updates related to a previous study on the effects of flaxseed supplementation on biochemical parameters in adults with type 2 diabetes. It acknowledges an error in Figure 3, which was duplicated from Figure 2, misrepresenting control group data, but confirms that the textual results and dataset remain accurate. The authors conducted a reanalysis using analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) to validate their findings, demonstrating significant improvements in fasting glucose, total cholesterol, and triglycerides after 12 weeks of flaxseed supplementation. The corrected figure and data are made available for independent verification, and the authors request publication of this response to update the record.
