| Sumario: | This study analyses the identity of the 'dead body' that appears in chapter nineteen of the first part of Don Quixote: Saint Juan de la Cruz. After locating various documents in the historical archives of Valladolid, it proposes a hypothesis as to who is hiding behind the character of 'Alonso López, a native of Alcobendas'. He relates this quixotic episode with the 'excommunication' suffered by Cervantes during the years he lived in Andalusia, analyses the anti-clerical satire present in the episode and the origin of the nickname 'Caballero de la Triste Figura' (Knight of the Sad Figure). Este artículo analiza la identidad del "cuerpo muerto" que aparece en el capítulo diecinueve de la primera parte del Quijote: san Juan de la Cruz. Propone, tras localizar diversa documentación en los archivos históricos de Valladolid, una hipótesis sobre quién se oculta tras el personaje de "Alonso López, natural de Alcobendas". Relaciona este episodio quijotesco con la "excomunión" que sufrió Cervantes durante los años que vivió en Andalucía, analiza la sátira anticlerical presente en el episodio y el origen del apelativo "Caballero de la Triste Figura". |
