| Sumario: | This article reports that HarperCollins Publishers Ltd. (HC) has made a commitment to phase out the use of paper from ancient and endangered forests. The first step in its new policy will see it printing all its trade paperbacks and hardback monochrome books on paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) from January next year. A new paper purchasing policy also sets out HC's plans to move towards totally phasing out paper from ancient and endangered forests, replacing it with recycled and FSC certified paper for use in all its books. |
