| Sumario: | This study explores key parameters of historical time representation in Middle Ages Turkic fiction, focusing on the Kitabi dede Korkut. For this research, selective literary analysis was used to compare different parts of how the past was shown in Middle Ages Turkic-language texts. The reproduction of historical time, focusing on folklore stories from the eleventh and twelfth centuries and introducing them into history, mixing real and fantastic elements, and providing detailed descriptions of places without giving dates were studied. This work can be used to compare national literatures, particularly European and Turkic prose and poetic works, to study the ways and means of recreating historical reality in the works of the modern period.
