| Sumario: | Surgery and Homoeopathy are often perceived as two distinct therapeutic disciplines-one concerned with manual intervention, the other with dynamic medicinal action. However, the writings of Dr Samuel Hahnemann, including the Organon of Medicine, The Chronic Diseases, and his Lesser Writings, make it clear that Homoeopathy has a definite and meaningful role in surgical cases. Homoeopathy may prevent the need for surgery, prepare the patient for safe operative procedures, and significantly enhance post-operative recovery. This article critically evaluates the principles, scope, and limitations of Homoeopathy in the surgical domain.
