The study utilized the PARACELSUS score as a diagnostic tool, revealing that 24% of patients initially diagnosed with PG-like ulcers were ultimately reclassified as PG, while 3% of those initially diagnosed with PG were found to have alternative diagnoses. The findings emphasize the importance of accurate diagnosis and the potential for the PARACELSUS score to reduce misdiagnosis rates. |
