Sumario:This article focuses on the guidance for visual training. The greatest difficulty in life of the student with visual problem is when he's going to school. In this situation the guidance counselor has an important role to help the student. When there is a visual problem, speed reading courses do not produce the results expected. The guidance counselor has effective tools for spotting most of those students who have visual problem. Training for the correction of such difficulty is the type of work being done at the several clinics and schools trained through the postgraduate courses at the Optometric Extension Program.
