Despite their significance, there is a lack of standardized instruments to identify and assess these issues in clinical teaching environments. Aim:This study aimed to develop a valid and reliable scale to determine the ethical problems experienced by nursing students during clinical teaching. Methodology: This methodological study was conducted with 506 nursing students from a population of 706 at a university in İzmir, Turkey. Data were collected using a Student Description Form and the newly developed Ethical Problems Scale for Clinical Teaching in Nursing (EPSCTN), which includes two sub-dimensions: Health Professional and Clinical Educator. Results: The Content Validity Index (CVI) was calculated as 0.87 for the Health Professional subscale and 0.89 for the Clinical Educator subscale. The total Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient of the scale was 0.96; 0.94 for the Health Professional subscale and 0.92 for the Clinical Educator subscale.
