This systematic review examines the impact of PDCA cycle implementation on the production of biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate (BOPET) films, a crucial material in the flexible packaging industry. Through comprehensive analysis of empirical studies, this research identifies quantifiable improvements in production capacity, productivity, and machinery efficiency. The findings reveal a 20% increase in production capacity, a 30% improvement in productivity, and machinery efficiency reaching 39% following PDCA implementation. Additionally, substantial enhancements in quality standards and compliance with international quality management systems were observed. This review synthesizes evidence from multiple industrial contexts, providing insights into the mechanisms through which PDCA drives continuous improvement in BOPET manufacturing. The results demonstrate that PDCA implementation, particularly when integrated with Lean Manufacturing principles and ISO 9001:2015 standards, yields significant operational benefits. However, the limited availability of long-term longitudinal data highlights the need for further research to assess the sustainability of these improvements over extended periods. pubtype: Academic Journal doctype: Literature Review src: R language: English refInfo: copyright: @attributes: flag: Y dt: @attributes: year: 2026 holdings: @attributes: islocal: N |
