        A edição 53, volume 2, do Brazilian Journal of Surgery and Clinical Research (BJSCR) é apresentada, destacando-se como um dos primeiros periódicos de acesso aberto ("Open Access Journal") no Brasil, lançado em 2012 pela Master Editora. O BJSCR tem como objetivo a divulgação ampla e irrestrita do conhecimento científico nas áreas de Ciências da Saúde e Biológicas. A próxima edição, volume 4 da mesma edição, estará disponível a partir de fevereiro de 2026.
