The Verified Rights Owner Programme (VeRO) was set up by eBay to help ensure that items listed on its Web site do not infringe the copy-right, trademark or other intellectual property rights of third parties. For publishers, this could include books with forged signatures being sold at inflated prices. eBay is urging individual publishers who believe that the sale of an item on eBay is infringing their intellectual property rights to sign up as a VeRO member. |
