| Sumario: | This is a wide-ranging conversation on the ways that generative artificial intelligence (gen AI) is changing history and historical disciplines. Topics covered include the impact of gen AI on historical practice, its effects on archival research, the ethics of its use, strategies for combating biases, and inclusivity. The participants are Canadian scholars chosen based on their prior publications about AI and history. They represent a range of disciplines and career stages and work in both French and English. Le présent article est un échange de grande envergure sur les modifications qu'apporte l'intelligence artificielle (IA) générative en histoire et dans les disciplines qui s'y rattachent. Les effets de l'IA générative sur la pratique historique et sur la recherche archivistique, l'éthique de son utilisation, les stratégies pour lutter contre les biais et l'inclusivité. Les participants sont des chercheurs canadiens sélectionnés en fonction de leurs publications sur l'intelligence artificielle et l'histoire. Ces chercheurs représentent diverses disciplines et étapes professionnelles et travaillent à la fois en français et en anglais. |
