Participants completed the Self-Compassion Scale, Attachment to God Scale, Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, and Marital Satisfaction Questionnaire. Using Pearson correlation and structural equation modeling, results showed that self-compassion and attachment to God were positively associated with marital satisfaction and adaptive emotion regulation, whereas maladaptive strategies negatively affected marital satisfaction and mediated both relationships. The findings highlight emotion regulation as a key mechanism for improving marital quality in family therapy. pubtype: Academic Journal doctype: Article src: R language: English refInfo: copyright: @attributes: flag: N holdings: @attributes: islocal: N |
