Sumario:The article focuses on Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (Kipic), a state-owned subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, issuing a new tender to upgrade the Al-Zour refinery by installing a new hydrogen production unit. The project aims to develop an alternative feed system for this unit at the $16 billion refinery, which was commissioned in May 2024. The tender, valued between $150 million and $200 million, was announced on February 1 with a bid submission deadline of May 3. Kipic had previously issued a tender for the same project in 2023 but has since reissued it to advance the development.
