| Sumario: | This article reviews *Women of Horror and Speculative Fiction in Their Own Words: Conversations with Authors, Editors, and Publishers*, edited by Sébastien Doubinsky and Christina Kkona, which compiles interviews with twenty-four women from diverse backgrounds involved in horror and speculative fiction. The volume explores how these genres serve as spaces to challenge social inequalities, gender norms, and racial and class boundaries, highlighting the intersection of gender and genre over the past thirty years. The editors conducted email interviews, allowing participants to shape their responses, and the collection includes writers, editors, and publishers from various nationalities and career stages.
