ab: This study aims to understand which factors influence hospital choice among individuals living in Konya province and to make assessments for improving healthcare services based on these factors. A quantitative research design was used in this Konya-based study. Convenience sampling was employed. The "Personal Information Form" and the "Identification of Factors That May Influence Hospital Choice" questionnaire were used in the study. The survey statements, prepared in a Likert style, were evaluated. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program. Furthermore, as the analysis method, upon determining that the data were normally distributed, t-tests and ANOVA analyses were applied in independent groups. The study included 548 adults. Participants were evenly distributed by gender. The majority were aged 20-29, and the proportions of married and single individuals were similar. Most participants had incomes below the minimum wage, and those with a bachelor's degree had the highest proportion. Participants generally visit the hospital more than once a year and do not change hospitals frequently. It was found that the factors individuals value most in their choice of hospital are the cleanliness of the hospital, the attentiveness of the staff, the confidentiality of information, and the speed and ease of registration. Contrary to expectations, the study found that the gender of healthcare workers was not the most important factor in individuals' choice of public hospital; rather, factors such as cleanliness, communication, privacy, and speed of procedures were more important. Based on these findings, it can be said that compliance with quality standards in public hospitals is an effective factor in hospital choice.
