Sumario:Marine Materia Medica deals with homoeopathic remedies derived from marine sources such as sea animals, sea plants and sea minerals. By exploring the nature of sea life forces reveal that what looks like a stone, a lamp, a floating forest or even a walking flower, can be an animal or assembly of animals with complex behavior and survival strategies such as fish that can fly like birds in water. The ocean contains a vast biodiversity that provides substances with significant medicinal value. Marine-derived homoeopathic remedies exhibit characteristic physical and mental symptoms that are used in the treatment of various diseases such as respiratory disorders, endocrine disorder, skin diseases and in psychological conditions. Homoeopathy utilizes sea-remedies so the study of marine resources offers promising opportunities for expanding homoeopathic therapeutics. In homeopathy, these remedies are prepared through potentization and prescribed according to the principle of homoeopathy i.e, "Similia Similibus Curentur".
