The full list of 10 for 2006 was announced on the Channel 4 show this Monday. "The History of Love," by Nicole Krauss will kick off the 10-week-long strand on January 18, 2006. Penguin has one of two non-fiction titles selected, Richard Benson's memoir of country life, "The Farm," along with Bloomsbury, for one whom Andrew Smith's "Moondust" is joined in the list by Anchee Min's novel "Empress Orchid," originally published in January 2004.
