| Sumario: | Significance & Background: Oncology is a rapidly changing field, with new treatment options, guidelines and strategies for supportive care emerging at a steady pace. For busy bedside nurses, staying current with these developments is critical to the provision of safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care. Advanced practice providers (APPs) play a key role in translating research into practice, managing complex treatment regimens, and supporting both patients and staff in navigating the care of oncology patients. Purpose: This series fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, and dialogue around the latest trends in oncology treatment and practice, bridging an identified gap between frontline nurses and APPs. By creating a forum for interactive discussion, bedside nurses gain direct access to advance practice experts, while APPs have an opportunity to gain insights into the challenges and perspectives of nurses at the point of care. Interventions: A 30-minute, virtual, monthly lunch and learn series offers flexibility and accessibility, allowing bedside nurses and APPs to connect without disrupting their busy schedules. Topics are selected by both the bedside staff and APPs to ensure the content is timely, practical and relevant to daily practice. Recordings are available for those unable to attend the live sessions, ensuring that all staff have the opportunity to benefit from the shared expertise, collaboration, and professional development credit offered. Results: Summative evaluations of each session demonstrated strong outcomes including 95-100% of attendees reporting they gained new knowledge, learned practical strategies, and identified opportunities to enhance their clinical practice. Many participants also expressed a commitment to applying what they learned to make meaningful changes at the bedside, highlighting the value of the sessions in bridging education with real-world impacts on patient care. Discussion: The Oncology Lunch and Learn Series support a culture of continuous learning by providing nurses with accessible, relevant and practice focused education. By fostering collaboration between bedside staff and advanced practice providers, these sessions not only enhance clinical knowledge but also build confidence at the bedside. This shared learning environment strengthens teamwork, promotes professional growth, and advances the quality of care provided to the oncology population.
