ab: Purpose: This study investigated factors influencing suicidal ideation among sexually experienced adolescent girls. Methods: A secondary analysis was conducted using data from the 2023 Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey, including a sample of 1,331 sexually experienced adolescent girls. Complex sample logistic regression analysis was used to examine factors associated with suicidal ideation. Results: Significant factors influencing suicidal ideation among sexually experienced adolescent girls included generalized anxiety disorder (OR=2.30, 95% CI=1.14~4.62), depressive symptoms (OR=3.32, 95% CI=2.01~5.49), loneliness (OR=1.90, 95% CI=1.23~2.95), stress (OR=1.67, 95% CI=1.02~2.71), experience of violence treatment (OR=2.44, 95% CI=1.03~5.79), and smartphone usage time (OR=4.83, 95% CI=1.28~18.23). Conclusion: This study is the first to examine factors influencing suicidal ideation among sexually experienced adolescent girls across three domains: mental health, health risk behaviors, and sexual behavior. The findings may contribute to the development of targeted interventions for adolescent girls.
