Sumario:AbstractInternet-based interventions have proven to be highly effective and address important issues such as prolonged grief. This study reports an internet-based, therapist-supported grief intervention developed for a Turkish sample at risk for prolonged grief disorder. Participants were randomly assigned to the intervention (n = 22) or the waitlist control group (n = 22), with assessments at four time points: pre-, post-, 1- and 3-month follow-ups. The program consisted of 10 structured online sessions integrating cognitive behavioral techniques, including exposure exercises, cognitive restructuring, and value-oriented goal setting, supported by individualized written therapist feedback. Compared to the control group, those in the intervention group experienced significantly greater reductions from pre- to post-intervention in traumatic grief, meaning violation, depression, anxiety, and stress, and maintained these improvements at both follow-ups. Findings provide preliminary support for the feasibility and potential effectiveness of an internet-based grief intervention in a Turkish community sample.
