Its most frequent clinical manifestations are mucocutaneous, given by the genital and oral ulcers. CLINICAL CASE: A 20-year-old female patient who had an extensive, painful, and destructive vaginal ulcer, pyoderma gangrenosum type, as the first manifestation of Behçet’s syndrome. CONCLUSIONS: To establish the diagnosis of Behçet’s syndrome, all the diseases encompassing the genital ulcerative syndrome must be considered, as it is a wide spectrum of differentials it becomes a diagnostic challenge when evaluating the patient. ANTECEDENTES: El síndrome de Behçet es un cuadro inflamatorio crónico, con un curso variable, que se caracteriza por afectación multiorgánica con etapas de remisión. Sus manifestaciones clínicas más frecuentes son las mucocutáneas, sobre todo úlceras genitales y orales. CASO CLÍNICO: Paciente femenina de 20 años que inició su padecimiento con una úlcera vaginal extensa, dolorosa, destructiva (pioderma gangrenoso-like) como primera manifestación del síndrome de Behçet.
