      ab: This study investigates the role of internet access in influencing COVID‐19 vaccination decisions in Peru. Using nationally representative data from the Encuesta Nacional de Hogares (ENAHO) and applying a propensity score matching (PSM) methodology, the study provides robust evidence that individuals with internet access are significantly more likely to receive COVID‐19 vaccinations than those without. Results reveal that digital literacy and the purposeful use of online resources mediate the relationship between internet access and vaccine uptake, highlighting the importance of educational engagement in leveraging digital connectivity for positive health outcomes. The analysis also underscores the dual nature of the internet, which can serve as both a source of accurate health information and a platform for misinformation. Policy implications include the urgent need to expand digital infrastructure, enhance digital literacy programmes and tailor public health campaigns to counter misinformation effectively. The findings contribute to broader discussions on digital inclusion and its impact on public health resilience, offering critical insights for addressing health inequalities in resource‐constrained settings. This research emphasizes the interplay between technological access, information engagement and equitable health outcomes, providing actionable recommendations for policymakers and public health practitioners.
