| Sumario: | The article focuses on the Metropolitan Center for the Visual Arts exhibit of large format photography at Montgomery County Center for the Visual Arts in Gaithersburg, Maryland from January 8 to February 2, 2006. The photographers work with tremendous limitations imposed by the process they chose thus producing contemplative and deliberate imagery. A high degree of technical mastery is showed in the photographic process. The works of photographers Steve Sherman, James Shanesy and Joe Freeham are also presented. |
