However, instructors' lack of knowledge, motivation, and concerns about increased workload hinder the implementation of such new offerings. Open educational resources can promote educational innovations. Yet, their availability and use in dental and dental hygiene education are minimal. Project description: A large set of interactive digital learning artefacts was created for dental and dental hygiene students by faculty at a Canadian university. This learning content is curated and archived in a freely available database, EdTech Cache; 46% of the content is focused on biochemistry, 28% on oral biology, and 23% on biomedical foundations. Discussion: Students can filter the database based on subject area and keywords to find learning activities to supplement their studies. Educators can also use EdTech Cache to create an interactive and engaging classroom experience. Conclusion: EdTech Cache can benefit students and educators across health sciences education. Introduction : On constate un intérêt croissant pour les innovations dans l'enseignement supérieur. Toutefois, le manque de connaissances et de motivation des instructeurs et leurs préoccupations quant à l'accroissement de leur charge de travail nuisent à la mise en oeuvre de ces innovations. Les ressources éducatives ouvertes peuvent promouvoir les innovations académiques. Toutefois, leurs taux de disponibilité et d'utilisation dans la formation en soins dentaires et en hygiène dentaire sont très faibles. Description du projet : Des membres du corps professoral d'une université canadienne ont créé un vaste ensemble d'artéfacts d'apprentissage numérique interactifs à l'intention des étudiants en soins dentaires et en hygiène dentaire. Ce contenu d'apprentissage est organisé et archivé dans une base de données accessible gratuitement, EdTech Cache ; 46 % du contenu est axé sur la biochimie, 28 % sur la biologie buccale et 23 % sur les fondements biomédicaux. Discussion : Les étudiants peuvent trier le contenu de la base de données en fonction de la discipline et des mots clés pour trouver des activités d'apprentissage appropriées pour leur domaine d'études. Les enseignants peuvent également utiliser EdTech Cache pour créer une expérience en classe interactive et stimulante.
