| Sumario: | The development of feminism in Türkiye is a multifaceted process shaped by the intersection of historical, social and cultural dynamics. In this process, translation has played a decisive role not only in the translation of foreign feminist texts into Turkish but also in the localization, transformation and reproduction of feminist discourses. This study aims to examine feminist translation practices in Türkiye within the framework of Pierre Bourdieu's Field Theory and to analyze the role of translation in laying the theoretical foundations of feminism in Türkiye and in the establishment of feminist thought with a descriptive approach. A corpus was created by searching the library catalogs of 28 universities with gender-related programs and the Women's Library and Information Center Foundation with the keywords of "feminism", "feminist" and "gender". 889 original and 590 translated works were identified. As a result, it has been observed that similar actors are involved in the production of both original and translation works, that certain publishing houses are prominent, and that the production of original works has increased predominantly since the 2000s, making it possible to discuss translation as a triggering factor at the beginning. Türkiye'de feminizmin gelişimi, tarihsel, toplumsal ve kültürel dinamiklerin kesişiminde şekillenen çok yönlü bir süreçtir. Bu süreçte çeviri, yalnızca yabancı feminist metinlerin Türkçeye kazandırılmasıyla sınırlı kalmayıp feminist söylemlerin yerelleştirilmesi, dönüştürülmesi ve yeniden üretilmesi açısından da belirleyici bir rol oynamıştır. Bu çalışma ile, Pierre Bourdieu'nün Alan Kuramı çerçevesinde Türkiye'deki feminist çeviri pratikleri ele alınarak, Türkiye'de feminizmin kuramsal temellerinin atılmasında ve feminist düşüncenin yerleşmesinde çevirinin oynadığı rolün betimsel bir yaklaşımla incelemesi hedeflenmektedir. Bu amaçla, toplumsal cinsiyetle ilgili program bulunan 28 üniversite ve Kadın Eserleri Kütüphanesi ve Bilgi Merkezi Vakfı'nın kütüphane katalogları "feminizm", "feminist" ve "toplumsal cinsiyet" kelimeleriyle taranarak bir derlem oluşturulmuştur. Buna göre, 889 telif eser ve 590 çeviri eser tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, benzer aktörlerin hem telif eser hem çeviri üretiminde rol aldığı, belirli yayınevlerinin öne çıktığı ve telif eserlerin üretiminin 2000'li yıllardan itibaren baskın bir şekilde artış gösterdiği görülmüş, bu da çevirinin başlangıçta tetikleyici bir unsur olarak tartışılmasını mümkün kılmıştır. |
