| Summary: | The novel Theodoros offers a significant argument for the romantic influence and especially for Eminescu's influence, included by Mircea Cărtărescu in his work almost on every occasion. This research follows the narrative episodes corresponding to the three Theodoros - Stamatina meetings, in which the intertext with one of Eminescu's most popular poems, Luceafărul, stands out in a remarkable way, hence the interpretation of the protagonist's portrait could use the romantic lyrical masks. Moreover, due to the appearance of the Flier, a major symbol of Romanian fantasy, the novel also falls into the category of magical realism, having, however, a language and a vision specific to Balkanism. Romanul Theodoros oferă un argument semnificativ pentru influența romantică și mai ales pentru cea eminesciană, inclusă de Mircea Cărtărescu în opera sa aproape de fiecare dată. Această cercetare urmărește episoadele narative corespunzătoare celor trei întâlniri Theodoros - Stamatina, în care intertextul cu una dintre cele mai populare poezii ale lui Eminescu, Luceafărul, iese în evidență într-un mod remarcabil, astfel încât interpretarea portretului protagonistului ar putea folosi măștile lirice romantice. Mai mult, datorită apariției Zburătorului, simbol major al fanteziei românești, romanul se încadrează și în categoria realismului magic, având însă un limbaj și o viziune specifice balcanismului. |
