| Sumario: | The article focuses on the library of the Queen Mary 2 ocean liner owned by the Cunard Line. The methodologies employed to evaluate the library include unstructured interviews with the librarian and observation of users. The library is accessible to all 2,620 passengers of the ship. It houses approximately 8,000 books and 200 audio books in compact disc format as of September 2005. A color-coded subject access system is used to organize books. It involves a color sticker on the spine of the book that corresponds to the same color on a master subject chart posted in several locations. |
