ab: The changes brought about by digital information technologies have created a need for different conceptualizations and forms of discussion, both individually and socially. One of these conceptualizations, homo digital, offers a new way of defining the subject, and consequently, the reproduction of consent is another fundamental debate concerning the contemporary subject. This study examines the modern subject through the lens of works ranging from Descartes, who addressed it through thought -based discussions, to Han, who discussed it through the phenomena of consumption and performance. The process that began with industrialization, leading to the alienation of the individual from labor, has today, with digital information technologies, facilitated the production of consent in the subject, alienating the individual from themselves and the society in which they live. This study will conceptually analyze the concepts of alienation, consent production, and homo digital, as well as captology, a conceptualization of persuasion technologies, and enfocracy, a new form of consent production and one of the changing forms of governance in the digital world. The primary objective of this study is to investigate the historical evolution of the subject's changing forms, spanning the modern era to the present day, and to explore how digitalization influences the production of consent. The research question, depending on the study's purpose, is how digital information technologies empower the contemporary subject to produce consent, and also how the concept of homo digital, as a new form of alienation, defines the modern subject. Finally, the method and approach of this study is to conduct a comparative analysis of specific issues mentioned in the literature, from the earliest discussions on the subject in modernism to contemporary debates, and to continue the conversation through conceptual analysis.
