The study is based on a bilingual corpus consisting of the trilogy by the Egyptian novelist Najib Mahfoudh and their French translations by Philippe Vigreux. Using a predicative analysis approach, the study describes these formulas as pragmatemes, defined by the parameters of the speech situation (speaker, interlocutor, their relationship, spatiotemporal context, etc.), and shows how they convey cultural inferences that go beyond the mere act of greeting. pubtype: Academic Journal doctype: Article src: R language: French refInfo: copyright: @attributes: flag: N holdings: @attributes: islocal: N |
