We are referring to the "radio editions", as they were produced for more than ten years, between 1963 and 1975. It was an attempt to transfer, in its entirety, the work of some of the great Romanian writers, accepted into the communist canon, from the regime of writing to that of voice. The written edition and the radio edition were to correspond perfectly. The idea for these editions belonged to some critics who had survived the interwar period and who also wrote the prefaces: Tudor Vianu, Șerban Cioculescu, Vladimir Streinu, Perpessicius, Alexandru Rosetti, and Al. Philippide. In order to achieve this conversion of the work from one medium to another, for which reading aloud proved insufficient, (historical) recordings of the writer’s voice were used, from the "Fonoteca de aur" archive, the speculated quality of these voices being spectrality. pubtype: Academic Journal doctype: Article src: R language: French refInfo: copyright: @attributes: flag: Y custom: Copyright of Caietele Echinox is the property of Echinox Cultural Foundation and its content may not be copied or emailed to multiple sites without the copyright holder's express written permission.
