The revision and study guide market has been around for a long time now and remains relatively predictable for booksellers. At the key times of the year it is a market characterized by panic. It has been noticeable--especially at undergraduate level--that there has been a shift away from core textbooks to shorter, cheaper introductory texts and revision guides. This has been particularly noticeable in particular subject areas such as law. |
