I have, of course, missed things in the past with mixed levels of enthusiasm and success— cats, fish, other wives, Old English Spangles— but I'm not a natural, far from it, and feel decidedly underprepared to miss anything new. Not everything can be replaced as easily as a bulb or a heart.
