In the 20th century, there was an even greater turn, especially in the theology of the Russian current, towards the renewal of the idea of the Greek Fathers regarding the integral understanding of the new creation and its cosmic nature. At the same time, the primacy of the timeless economy of salvation is being given, which, despite its connection to temporality, is not at all dependent on it. Historical time plays a significant role here, but only a certain auxiliary one. Eastern Christianity most often interprets the present and future history of creation in the light of the resurrection and the Lord's Day, on which it is celebrated in a special way. This article will present the Christological vision of history in the Eastern view in the categories of universe, new creation, space time, coexistence of culture and religion, and mysterious community. W myśli wschodniej od początku przywiązywano dużą wagę do uniwersalnego ujęcia wszechświata, bez dokonywania radykalnego podziału bytów stwórczych czy tym bardziej ich izolowania. W XX wieku nastąpił jeszcze większy zwrot, zwłaszcza w teologii nurtu rosyjskiego, w kierunku odnowy idei Ojców greckich odnośnie do integralnego rozumienia nowego stworzenia i jego relacji natury kosmicznej. Jednocześnie oddawana jest przewaga ponadczasowej ekonomii zbawczej, która mimo związku z doczesnością nie jest od niej wcale zależna. Czas historyczny nie odgrywa tu roli znaczącej, a jedynie pewną pomocniczą. Chrześcijaństwo wschodnie najczęściej interpretuje obecne i przyszłe dzieje stworzenia w świetle Zmartwychwstania i Dnia Pańskiego, w którym, w sposób szczególny, je celebruje.
