      ab: Mechanical ventilation is a life-saving intervention for respiratory failure; however, it carries a well-documented risk of Ventilator-Induced Lung Injury (VILI). VILI results from mechanical stressors--such as barotrauma, volutrauma, and atelectrauma--which trigger a systemic inflammatory cascade known as biotrauma. While conventional protocols focus on "lung-protective ventilation," surviving patients frequently experience prolonged recovery periods characterized by pulmonary fibrosis, chronic inflammation, and compromised gas exchange. This narrative review explores the theoretical potential and philosophical rationale of homeopathic therapeutics in post-VILI care. By examining the principles of individualization and similimum selection, this article discusses how individualized homeopathic management might offer a complementary framework for supporting pulmonary recovery, while emphasizing the need for future empirical and clinical investigations.
